On Saturday, April 19, kids will have the opportunity to choose from three popular Easter Egg Hunts in the Vail Valley!
Taking place in Lionshead Village, the Vail Recreation District is hosting their annual Easter Egg Hunt starting at 9:30 a.m. The event includes a visit by the Easter Bunny followed by a quest for prizes and eggs at 10 a.m. As part of the Town of Vail’s Celebrate Green” program, participants are encouraged to bring their own baskets or reusable bags to carry eggs and prizes. Located just below Beaver Creek Village, Creekside Park is the place for kids to search for the 3,000 eggs. The event begins at 10:30 a.m. and includes an appearance by the Easter Bunny. There is something for all ages at Gypsum’s Annual Easter Eggstravaganza including relay races, a bouncy castle, photo opportunities with local characters and the Easter Bunny. At 10 a.m. kids four and under will participate in an Easter Egg Hunt in frot of Lundgren Theater. Then at 10:30 a.m. ages five to seven will gather in front of Town Hall and at 11 a.m. ages seven to 12 will search for eggs around the playground in front of the Gypsum Library.
For those who want to swim for Easter eggs, the Gypsum Rec Center Eggquatics event invites kids to dive into the Rec Center pool and redeem them for prizes – especially the gold and silver eggs. Visit www.townofgypsum.com for more information.
