Patagonia Ski Day with Braden “Pep” Fujas

On Friday, Dec. 19, 2014 the Patagonia Store at Arrabelle in Vail Square in Lionshead Village is providing an opportunity for 35 individuals to ski or ride for an hour with former Winter X Games competitor and well-known ski actor in more than 20 ski films, Braden “Pep” Fujas.  To experience a free, one-hour ski session with Fujas, skiers and riders need to pre-register by visiting or calling the Lionshead Patagonia before Friday.  Departing from the Lionshead Patagonia shop, Fujas is famous for his freeskiing skills and inventing his own trick, the Pep Roll.  Participants with a confirmed time to ski with Fujas will need to be at the store an hour prior to their ski/ride time to be escorted to Henry’s Hut, the on-mountain headquarters for the “Ski With Pep” tours. A free light lunch will be served at Henry’s Hut for participants. Maximum group size is seven people and slots are allocated on a first-come, first served basis with a maximum of 35 individual participants during the day. Lift ticket is not included. Skiers and riders should be intermediate or above.

The first one-hour, “Ski With Pep” session departs at 8:30 am with additional times at 10, 11, 1, and 2pm.  Participation requires signing a waiver so in-person registration in advance is strongly recommended but phone reservations can be made at 970-476-1877.

That evening, the fun continues with a series of short ski films beginning at 6pm in the Lionshead Patagonia shop followed by a question and answer session with Fujas.  All activities are free and door prizes will be given away that evening.
