Music Events in the Vail and Beaver Creek Area
Vail Jazz @ the Riverwalk
Vail Jazz @ the Riverwalk is a great way to hear great music, for free, throughout the entire summer. Meet at the Riverwalk Backyard Amphitheater in Edwards on alternating Fridays at 6pm (the next one is on June 9th).
Cover Rock Festival
On the weekend of June 23rd, the valley will come alive with a fantastic musical festival – Cover Rock Festival. Two great tribute bands will perform music from The Beatles, The Kink, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd (with a laser light show), Cream, and Queen. Head to the base of Beaver Creek to Avon’s beautiful Nottingham Park Friday and Saturday from 2pm-10pm.
The 2017 season of Bravo! Vail looks like it will be truly inspiring. This year, four of the greatest orchestras in the world – the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, London’s Academy of St Martin in the Fields, and the New York Philharmonic will perform some well-loved masterpieces. Vail Arts Festival
Join us as we celebrate art in all its forms at the Vail Art Festival. The weekend of June 23rd, this three-day festival will showcase every kind of art imaginable, including metal works, mixed media, digital art, fiber, drawing, print making, glass, ceramics, sculpture, painting, jewelry, and fashion. Art in Public Places
Thrughout Vail, keep your eye peeled for art installations in public places. Many of the new art pieces (sculptures, paintings, and other installations) are interactive. Stroll through the village and around town to spot them. You’ll be sure to find them in Sunbird Park, the Tenth Mountain Division Memorial, and Pirate Ship Park (see all the locations here).
